Turn your bicycle in to an icicle! If you live in a mountain town, are broke from buying your season pass and selling weed didn’t turn out the way you thought it would, chances are you are without cash for gas or modern motorized transportation all together. Now, nothing can stop you! Bring on a blizzard, you can just ride right on through! Now, if you only had enough money for waterproof clothing …
I’m trying to wrap my head around what this board is actually all about. It looks like a circuit board from a Ms. Pacman machine. I think it’s supposed to record all kinds of important information about your personal radness.
Maybe in the future, your board would actually have verbal feedback after every turn you did. “Biddie biddie biddie, that snap was weak!” Why I imagined the board talking like Tweakie from Buck Rogers is a mystery to even me. The future is now…or in a little while.

The Graffiti Project on Kelburn Castle
Posted: March 9, 2011 in ArtsTags: Castle, Graffiti Project, Kelburn
Originally built in the 13th century and remodeled in the 16th century, Kelburn Castle is one of the oldest castles in Scotland, and has been continuously inhabited by a family for a long time. One fine day, the Earl of Glasgow was told that the concrete facings were in bad condition and would have to be redone to save the stone underneath. To raise money for the refacing, the Earl’s children had the idea of bringing in pulblic to see the castle, and have huge images painted on the castle.
They contacted four Brazilian Graffiti artists for the project, who stayed in the castle for a month, collaborating on the ideas and creating these amazing paintings. It indeed is rare to see castle-scale graffiti, and it looks good. Since the concrete had to be removed later, the paintings didn’t really pose a problem for the castle.
